BIO
"Who am I? Who am I?
I am Jean Valjean!"
Wait, actually, no I'm not - though I do LOVE Les Miserables.
I was born in the city of Bethesda, Maryland in January of 1985. I like to believe that this does indeed make me a "Southern Belle", being that I came into this world South of the Mason Dixon line, however, many people just kind of give me the side eye and an, "ok... yankee" when I say that.
I grew up a Navy brat, and I'm proud of that. I've lived in Maryland, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, Pennsylvania, and now Ohio. Growing up in the military gave me a keen sense of wanderlust and adventure. It taught me to learn and adapt to new environments. To always put my best foot forward.
As I'm sure you've gathered from perusing this website, I really really enjoy creating.
I knew from a very tender age that I would do anything and everything it took to become an artist. Through my formative, angsty "no one understands my ART" teens, to five years of art school, to now 10+ years working as a professional artist - I am still learning new ways and approaches to making art every day.
It's a continuous journey, albeit, sometimes a roller coaster ride of emotions...
It's who I am.
Currently, I reside on the west side of Cleveland with my most amazing husband and our dog (Queen) Bean (the rescued Silky Terrier with one tooth).
We LIVE for spontaneous escapades on our motorcycles, camping, afternoon naps, trying new foods, and damn fine whiskey.
We LOVE for living passionately.
Carpe Diem.
